IV ° - Small Talk
Fourth  part of our evolving audio/visual project
scene hosted by

Leonardo Rosado (contributors: chapter 1- Leonardo Rosado. Chapter 2-Macu chapter 3 Jared Blum &Dom Cramps)

Scene IV - Small Talk
Leonardo: “I started this piece based on the idea that there are situations in time where we can speak and shout in a monologue or a dialogue with someone or an audience but the words are not getting anywhere, they just don’t matter or fit the situation.
It includes a sample of a field recording I made in Tokyo last November capturing a manifestation of the Japanese right wing party, several samples of radio static and sruti box processed. Finally, it includes an excerpt of my voice taken from a previously unreleased track of mine reprocessed.  The poem is as follows Subterranean Speechless - prologue  This is me  This is you  We are talking  Through our lips  Someone else is having a conversation  They talk about us  How our lips move  in a mute language
Without speaking

Scene II° Songes et Pensées
barbara’s lyrics for this scene….

Hiding in a dress made of sea He shoot a scene from someone else’s film
Hiding in a dress made of sea She had a dream from someone else’s sleep
Dancing his fears towards daylight Music in his tears His eyes so bright
Too clear the pain of love divided
Not a whisper Not a thought will ever be lost
Until he sees no more Fading Slowly Softly Closer Until he sees no more
